Flying Ants are often confused with swarming termites and Termites are confused with flying ants. Some of the ways to tell the difference- ants have two sets of wings but one pair is 50% shorter. Termites have two sets of wings of equal size. Ants have three body segments and termites have two. Termites will usually drop there wings after they swarm and ant will not. The best way to tell the difference is to call Empire Pest Control for a trained inspector to make the correct identification and recommend the proper treatment.
